Congratulations! Your proposal "GlusterFS Ganeti support" submitted to
"Ganeti" has been accepted for Google Summer of Code 2013. Over the
next few days, we will add you to the private Google Summer of Code
Student Discussion List.

Now that you've been accepted, please take the opportunity to speak
with your mentors about plans for the Community Bonding Period: what
documentation should you be reading, what version control system will
you need to set up, etc., before start of coding begins on 17 June.

Your mentoring organization has added the following message:

Thanks for applying to help Ganeti out through the summer. Your
application has been accepted, and we're glad that you'll be able to
join us. Please reach out to us ASAP and let's get started with your
community bonding phase. The next steps are:

- have a chat with your mentor, organize a hangout to meet her/him

- sign the Google CLA if you haven't done it already

- build and install Ganeti on a set of machines or VMs, following our guides

- configure a cluster and make it work

- interact with the community early, fix one or more "SmallTasks"
bugs, get started on the codebase

(please let us know which bug you are working on, to avoid effort duplication)

- ask about guidance for what you need to modify for your project

- write a design doc (see examples in doc/design-*.rst)

You should aim to have at least a few patches committed and a design
draft reviewed and committed by the end of the community bonding
period, so that we know each other well, and can get started on the
coding.

Note that it is of utmost importance that you start interact with the
community *immediately* as we won't be able to proceed further with
your application unless we know you and your work well by the
beginning of the coding phase.
