你把cvs这个用户的环境变量LANG改为zh_CN.GB18030
然后重启cvsd，看行不行。

小弟最近在配置CVS服务，服务跑在redhat9上，客户端是xp，wincvs。现在cvs服务已经转起来了，但发现上传文件时有问题：
    如果文件名是中文的，上传到服务器上的文件名是乱码的，但在wincvs中显示倒是正确的名称，但签出后的文件有些文件名被截断了，有些甚至内容也没了，真是要命啊！
 
我试过两个cvs，一个是redhat自带的cvs；一个是最新的cvsnt，编译安装的。两个都是同样的现象。
 
是否是操作系统的设置不正确？还是cvs编译时什么选项没有打开？
